The first time it was a high pitched squeal. I stopped about 30yards later and reversed and it cleared.
The second time was last night going home and it sounded like someone had dropped a scaffolding pole at the rear of the car... then another and another - the penny dropped and I knew it was another stone. Again, stopped and reversed and it cleared.
Both at slow speeds about 25mph.
It must be getting caught between the disk and the metal backing plate.
The thing is - I have never had this in any other car and if my wife was driving it she would drive around until she got home!
I will possibly need to pull the backing plate closer to the disk to stop stones getting in. Anyone else had this problem?
My wheels are the 21" Sport Classics and I wonder if that is leaving lots of space for stones to get in?
