Advice for a noob

Like others have said, I'd put the £3k deposit down and see what comes up. You never know what's around the corner. I joined the waiting list for a Macan S in November 2014 and less than a month later the dealer called to ask if I'd be interested in taking one that had become available to them at year end. I chose not to as the colour (Sapphire Blue) and few other things weren't quite right, but some lucky punter on the list got the same call and as a result got his/her Macan quicker than expected......

Less available + more gorgeous than the competition = much more desirable, and worth the wait!

Except my dealer "forgot" to advise as lock down approached/passed. They're all car salesmen!
