My Boxster Vodafone subscription is due at the end of the month. It is required for my insurance.
When I go onto the Porsche Car Connect to renew I only get bundles.
Remote services+Safety services+Security services or Safety services+Security services.
Option 1 is £279
Option 2 is £247
Only individual option is Remote services, which I have no interest in.
Is it not possible just to purchase the Vodafone tracker "Security services" individually any more?

Or change insurance. Vodafone is a rip-off. Never been asked for it on my car

Speak to Vodaphone directly and ask as those prices seem expensive, I may be wrong

Is there a spec for what you can actually do with each of the options?

Insurance isn't due till October, but when I bought the car new as it was over £85k every insurance company I checked demanded a tracker.
Given my insurance company LV was only £270 this was also significantly cheaper than any other quote.

Seems you can't have security services without safety services🤔

In my experience, the Vodafone tracker system is very poor. I was plagued by phone calls from them telling me my car had been stolen, when I was driving it with the tracker fob in the car. I also had repeated issues with the tracker fob giving error messages. In the end, I cancelled the subscription.

If you must have a tracker for insurance purposes, there are various approved trackers which you can buy for £200, then only pay about £120 a year subscription. Far cheaper than the Porsche Vodafone system.

Interesting, in a year I have never had any problem with the Vodafone tracker system.
I have twice forgotten the fob when drying off the car after washing and received a call from them.
Will dig into other options through.
