Hello guys,
I'm a new girl on this Forum. I have just ordered a Macan T, but cannot decide if I should go for Papaya with matching stitching/seat belts or Carmine Red with red gauges and seat belts (both interiors in black leather otherwise).
Please help, I really have to decide within the next week and I am stuck!
Pictures will be much appreciated!
Here are the configs:

Papaya: https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PRLBLRA2
Thank you!
Maggie
Macan T - Papaya or Carmine Red?
Go with the version you like best, I suspect you know deep down which one?
It’s entirely subjective and is like somebody telling you to not drink coffee because they prefer tea!!

I actually do prefer tea to coffee!
As I cannot decide between the two configs, I just want to hear some opinions, the decision is of course mine to make.
It would be so much easier if I could just order a GTS in CR and with CR stitching! I love the contrast stitching,

Both these colours are parked around me , after a year red aged better….
So like fine wine red ages better
But I like papaya more as its a “ new colour”, but that novelty might wear off

I doubt if I'd spend £2.5 k on 19" winter wheels , plenty on ebay for a fraction of the price.
The novelty wearing off it exactly what I am afraid of..Monaco2323 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2024 11:33 pmOla Bienvenue !Guardsred wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2024 11:02 pm Hello guys,

They are both not the most popular colours so first and foremost select the one you like best. Then if you have an eye for resale select the one that will appeal to more buyers which will be the red. Orange has a limited market and dealers will reflect that in trade in values.

Colour is such a personal thing but you asked for opinions. Carmine Red would be my first choice for a Macan and I would have chosen it for my car with a free choice (I persuaded my wife that Carmine was not worth the extra over the ‘free option’ of Guards Red on her Boxster).
But I prefer the interior of the Papaya Car with contrast stitching. Your Carmine Car is quite a bit more expensive and I haven’t checked why that is, but if you have the budget I’d personally try and spruce up the interior somehow, whether that is Crayon contrast stitching (I note you have changed the race tec interior to leather - I prefer leather as well) or change the colour from coal bunker black to Agate Grey or one of the two tone interiors.
Ideally try and view the different interiors if possible before making your final decision. Have a look at the approved used cars for sale and see if there are any of the possible combinations close enough to go and look at.
At the end of the day, both are great colours. Good luck.
