So you’ll be seeing my Carmine Red T in April.

Thank you everybody for taking your time and expressing your opinions, much appreciated!
Is your final spec as per previous posts ?
Look forward to your pics once delivered 👍
Yes, it’s the same as the first link CR, I’ve decided to leave it and stop overthinking it.

Well done and now relax! :D ;)
You can now count down the days until delivery.
Thanks! It’s been nerve wrecking as cannot order a new one if I do not like the car I’ve ordered!

Are you talking from experience? My car had an alcantara wheel from the factory and it never felt slippery. Yes, it requires steam cleaning every so often, but if kept clean they look and feel great.
Yes. We had a new loan Macan with alcantara steering wheel for two weeks and it lacked grip compared to our leather one. Just a daft gimmick.
Not a gimmick and I love it. I've lived with an alcantara wheel for three years, much prefer over leather, but thats just me.
It’s all about personal preferences. I think it looks great especially with the red stitching and all the other alcantara accents in your GTS :)

+1. Definitely no gimmick. Widely used in sporty cars, including the 2011 Williams F1 car.

With Porsche, Alcantara, or its equivalent, is a signature material in the GTS models. :geek:

At OPC today...

I'm advised that right now no more ICE cars are being built for EU countries due to emissions rules.

We're fine as we're not in the EU.

Thank you Simon,
I haven’t changed anything as I believe I love the car configured this way.
Hopefully it will look nice when it arrives.
I have asked about changing to an S, but they only have allocations for a couple of GTS left, although they will get back to me if they can accommodate me.

We shall see :)

At OPC today got chatting with a lady whose Macan 2.0 was in for its 1st MOT.

"My only regret is not getting the three litre" she said.

But then again it's her only Porsche.
