We're waiting with bated breath for the "after" picture :)
No frost forecast for Friday evening so gave it a good clean , sparkling. Out for lunch Saturday , 80 mile round trip, not quite as dirty as Friday morning but needs another wash - any excuse - best job of the week. :)
Mine: 1 Black (never again) 4 Silver - 6 Blue - 3 White - since about 1987.

Lovely colour but difficult to keep clean.
I'm actually surprised that white is still up there. Very trendy a few years back but fashions change

And in the winter time white cars really look dirty.

As the owner of a yellow car, every purchase of a grey/black/white car is a “little win” 😂😂

More than half a million (509,194) grey cars were registered in 2023 – a 22.6 per cent increase in volume on 2022 – as Britons continue to stick by monochrome tones....

Try buying some cars in any colour other than White, Black, or some shade of Grey. Blue, if you're lucky.

Hi Scooby I am looking for some garage floor mats and noticed you have some, are they specific for cars / garage floors. Do you have a name or where I can purchase from thanks.

They were left over from a job my old company carried out , sorry but not sure what make they are. The 2 pack epoxy paint on the floor didn't like warm tyres on top of it so I laid a few of them where the rear wheels sit.
Just looked on tinternet' - Polyfloor Saarfloor Noppe , not cheap. I had about 16 of them , used some of them on the crockery/ saucepan shelves in our kitchen units - bit of overkill @ £13 each. ;)

The popularity of black, white and grey are a mystery to me.

I've had over 20 cars and at least half of them have been either blue or one of those shades of black with a blue metallic flake like Mercedes' Blue-Black or BMW's Carbon Black.

However, my favourite colour for a car is actually dark green but sadly I've only had two green cars, both of which were second-hand. That's because dark green is rare as a standard colour. I've ordered four new cars in my life - three BMWs and this Macan and I would always have had to have gone special-order at great expense and delay to get green paint, so reluctantly didn't.

I've never had a white car. I'm just not keen on white - I get the practical point if you live somewhere scorchingly hot and sunny, but in that case I'd far rather have a silver car (not that I've so far had one of those either).
