Hello! I'm only joining to stop bothering my pal with a Macan Diesel for all the information.

Not really. I've been a member of Rennlist for ages, skulking about in the 964 forum. The Macan forum is full of an entirely different breed, though, so I figured I'd spend some time here.
The Macan? Not mine, it's the sensible family car. It's a 2014 S that's been pretty well specced. Originally a factory pickup, and it had its first ever service in the (sadly now demolished) Porsche Centrum Stuttgart. The original plate is printed on the back of the filler cap, and it begins with an S. 8-)

I'm not loving it yet. Liking it, yes. Respecting it? Very definitely. I suspect it's a grower - I didn't like the new one I tried in 2015, either! I'd love it if it had a third pedal, I reckon!

Just today stuck the winters on, and found some previous shagwit fitter's ruined a thread on one of the rear hubs, so I've that to look forward to fixing. Yay!

Anyway, you'll probably want pics? I'll fling some up, gimme a minute...

Thank you! Agreed it's a nice looking thing, and I'm hoping it'll make miles of Europe disappear effortlessly. We'll see.

Already posed a question in one of the other bits of the forum. :)

Hi “Flash”. Welcome to the forum. I see you’ve grasped the English for tyre fitters 🤣🤣. Are you Dutch ?

Going through the citizenship process at the moment. Left Scotland in 2016, so aye, fairly proficient in English as a second language as the need arises. Proper English, not the shitey version that avoids 'u's and replaces 's's with 'z's.

Some pics of my 964, even though nobody expressed any interest. Rude. :P

+1. That 964 is in seriously good condition. This forum started life as a Macan forum but members whose only experience of Porsches is their SUVs are now an endangered species :P :P

Thank you! I've had it for over ten years now and I've been all over Europe in it. I can't see me ever selling it. I had a 914 that I had to sell as well, so that's unfinished business. I still quite fancy a cheap 986 at some point as well.
