21" vs 20" wheels
I am quite tempted to upgrade from the standard 20" S wheels to the 21" Exclusive design sport wheels in vesuvius grey I have also specd PASM which I think is a must when switching to 21" wheels. I do think the 21" seems to fill the wheel arches more or is that the configurator given that impression
At the end of the day it’s your money so choose what makes you happiest. I personally wouldn’t spec 21” wheels without air suspension to soften the bumps. Test drive and then choose.
I’m happy with my 20” and air. In fact for winters I’ve gone 19” as comfort imho outweighs looks.

PASM is a Must Have in any Macan, one might as well buy a Kia if one omits PASM.
I would not spec 21” even with air, a Macan is an SUV not a sports car and the difference in handling is minimal, ride is a bit harder and there is certainly more road noise and if I were to go for 21” wheels then I would certainly as Insulated Glass to the spec.
After 7 years of Macan ownership my wheel buying criteria would be simple …… EASE OF CLEANING.

With my original order for a "T" my first choice were the 21" Turbo wheels closely followed by the 21 Exclusive sport wheels for ease of cleaning. My ex demo "S" came with the standard 20" "S" alloys and more than pleased with them.M30LEV wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 12:35 pm I am quite tempted to upgrade from the standard 20" S wheels to the 21" Exclusive design sport wheels in vesuvius grey I have also specd PASM which I think is a must when switching to 21" wheels. It's an optical illusion. The diameter and circumference of 18,19,20 and 21 wheels and tyres is the same. The only difference is the tyre wall thickness

Yip, the illusion is the wheel size, circumference the same, just pick the wheel style you like best regardless of sizeNuclear Nick wrote: ↑Sun Oct 01, 2023 8:50 amSpot on, you beat me to it!Bluesnose1812 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 8:01 pmIt's an optical illusion. That’s not strictly true though as 20” and above are wider and therefore fill the arches more than the smaller diameter wheels.Bluesnose1812 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 8:01 pmIt's an optical illusion. June 2017 Macan GTS in Carmine red with 21” gloss black sport classics, GTS leather package, Air, PASM, PDLS+, pano roof, Sports Chrono, 18 way seats, BOSE, surround view, heated seats front and rear, carbon side blades and carbon interior package.
Thicker tyres = comfortable ride.
Plus cheaper ( is there such a word relating to Porsche) to replace.
