Greetings all. First real post on here.

Currently driving a used 718 Cayman which I love but I’ve been fancying something a bit more practical for a while. Was passing the Teesside PC in January and called in for a look at the Macan. They had a white T just arrived in the showroom which I loved. Was worried about the 2 litre not being powerful enough so had a drive of a base spec and thought it felt fine and certainly sporty enough in sport mode. I wasn’t intending to buy anything then but they said they’d do me a bit of a deposit contribution if I signed up then so I did.

I’ve been in awe of Crayon since a saw it in the showroom a year or 2 back so it was pretty much my only choice colour wise. I don’t do high miles so don’t need extra comfy seats or ACC. The showroom model had white skirts all round which I’ve since added on as I didn’t realise the black plastic was standard. Anyway my code is below, but I purposefully held off posting on here as I can be quite indecisive and had a hard enough time deciding what I really want without more distractions that may be more tailored to other peoples needs anyway.

Had a bit of a panic a few weeks back with the price increase but I’ve been allocated MY23 so avoided that thankfully. It would have scuppered the deal I think as I’m at the limit of what I could or wanted to pay.

My freeze date was yesterday so feels like things are starting to move now. The sales lady has been excellent so far but she’s fairly new to the role so sometimes has to go away and check but she’s very helpful.

Anyway feel free to rip my spec to bits. It’s too late for me to change now lol.

Just one question for now… (well 2)… what is the best way to track production? It seems we can’t use the US tracker. I’ve seen posts showing a list of V numbers with expected and actual dates but she said she doesn’t have access to this. Anyone know what it’s called specifically so I can ask again next time we speak?

Thank you ☺️ I’ve read a lot of older posts on here and I’ve skipped the spare wheel… Seems it’s a bit of a contentious one! 😬

Thanks. I originally had the 5 spoke Vesuvius grey but the saving to switching to 911 turbos paid for air suspension. I’ve since convinced myself I like the 911s more anyway as the grey paint finish will match the grey trim on the body.

Yeah I was always under the impression Porsche didn’t do discounts but they gave me £1200. Not massive but was enough to sway me.
