Afternoon All

I'm sure some of you would have seen the dirty girls pics I posted of my Macan a few days ago. Well my ODC got the better of me and I decided to give it a quick clean today but as an experiment I thought I would just snow foam and jet wash and NOT use any buckets or touch the car in anyway. I didn't have time to do it properly but wanted to get the salt deposits off and see how she came out.

First I rinsed with hose flowing warm water at 40c and then snow foamed at the same temp and after leaving it to work its magic whilst I had a nice hot chocolate I then jet washed it off. All in all it took me 15 minutes and whilst I know it will have left residual dirt I'm happy that its a lot better than it was and the warm water will have at least dissolved the damaging salt and I can now see out the back screen Smile.

I know you all like a pic so here are the before, during and afters.

Looks good, what's the hose connected to to get 40c water?
I just ordered a soft water filter to see how that helps with rinse off.

Simon, I have a hot and cold water feed in my garage and a thermostatic control valve on the hot feed which comes directly from the Megaflow thingy lol.

But at least the next owner will get it in great condition and I've never had trouble selling my cars privately and strangly always seem to get top money for them so I have a feeling that spoiling them works lol.

Thats a lovely pic of froth there Mark Clap.

I normally do the wheels whilts its doing its stuff and enjoy a hot drink too. Warning though, don't leave it on as long in the summer as its a bitch to get off if it drys on. Thankfully summer dirt doesn't need much removing.
