Dealers can register and tax new cars for a year and a week, you might have to pay the pro rata for the extra week.
So tax would be renewable 31st March 2024

I don't think that is the correct end date, if taxing now it would end on the 29th Feb 2024. The extra week applies if taxing up to a week before the end of March 2023, in which case the tax would end on the 31st March 2024.
