I have an S on order for delivery in Sep or there abouts . I had a look at the 47P wheels last week at the OPC and while they are ok I am not 100% certain. I much prefer the GT design wheels in platinum but they are only available to configure on a GTS or buy separately for approx £5600. I have enquired with the OPC as to a delivery timeframe if I switch orders to a GTS and they came back with a Oct 23 build date. The price is still going to increase by about £5000 with the spec I have built below but I do get the GTS with the wheels I want all be it a little bit later. Both specs below. Any thoughts, I know it’s a lean GTS spec compared to some but I am already a tad over budget.

I would go for the GTS probably.

Tad over budget is quite normal

Residuals wise the GTS is the best bet.

You're always better off with a higher model, lightly specced than a fully loaded lesser model.

Good point, I never thought about that, thanks.

I would go with the GTS with just a month difference. When I ordered my S it was five months or eighteen and I was not in a position to wait that long.
I ended up speccing up an S but a lot of what I have you get on the GTS as standard so not a lot in it price wise

Whilst the GTS residual may be better than a S, it’s a bit ‘swings & roundabouts, because you’re still paying more for the GTS in the first place!

I would ring around if I were you. Sorry but I don’t believe there’s a months difference. ;)

Nor me, especially as the S is due to be delivered in September 2023, and the GTS is to be built in October 2023, but they didn’t give an estimated delivery date? 🤔

It could be a cancellation, there are more and more of these in such uncertain times?

That’s entirely possible, however, my point is even if the GTS is built in October, that certainly doesn’t mean it’ll be delivered to the OPC in the same month, so the ‘1 month’ difference between the two options is incorrect.
