They look awesome 😂
They do.

Best most comfortable ride in any of the 15 or so Macan’s that I have driven, 18” with Air Suspension.

I'm amazed that Porsche dealerships don't offer tyre and wheel insurance.

Thanks all, this is very helpful, and yeah it happened on day three of ownership. Of course I didn't scrape the 19s on my previous Q5 in three years.

Some do, or at least used to.

I paid £108 to refurb one of my 20” winter alloys, The Wheel Specialist, Inverness just a few weeks ago. They had a slight issue identifying the colour but sourced the correct shade eventually, when I got it back I was more than happy.

OPC quoting £575 (2yr) or £675 (3yr) for wheel and tyre insurance with a max of 5 punctures and 10 alloy scrapes covered.

Is that worth taking out? For 21” alloys?

It’s all down to ‘attitude to risk’ I guess.

Tempting fate, but I’ve had Porsches now for 6.5 years and would never have claimed on wheel & tyre insurance during that time, touch wood!! So I guess I’ve “saved” over £1,300 on insurance! :P

Punctures are largely down to luck, so £675 is less than the cost of two 21” tyres.

You pays your money... ;)

Cheers,
Simon

Thank goodness Porsche wheels aren't Diamond cut.

Must admit 20" wheels worry me - hence the air suspension option ticked.

For winters I'd be looking for 18 or 19s. On the Volvo I run 20" summer's and 18" winters.

Would 18 " winters fit a Macan T?

I’ve only needed to repair one alloy and one puncture in the last 15 years so at that price it would not be for me.

Some are, including the 911 Turbo wheel design, fitted to some Gen I Macans. :geek:
