The nights are getting colder and it won't be long before the contents of half of the salt mines in Cheshire will find their way onto our decaying roads. Before I had the car ceramic coated, I would be out with the DA applying another coat of wax. Now, of course, there is no need. I will be foaming and jet washing the wheel arches and when the salt goes down also blasting the under carriage. This may not be necessary given all the covers underneath, but I feel happier doing it. I have a 90 degree attachment for the Nilfisk but turning the Patio Cleaning attachment upside down also works well especially as I have a lance extension. Dust off the rubber mats too.

Increase the concentration of the screenwash to avoid it freezing.

I’ve spent 35 years doing nothing at all. Never even thought about winter tyres etc and have never noticed any difference. This year I will continue my usual winter regime and do absolutely nothing different. 👍

I’ll make sure my light grey zip up slippers still have some decent tread left 👍
