Gorilla glue puncture repair!

One of my neighbours was on his knees at the rear of his GLC coupe Mercedes the other day and I strolled across to see if he was ok. Turns out he was applying Gorilla glue to a slow puncture as he didn't want to use the foam crap stuff supplied. Puncture was in the middle of the tyre, not the sidewall. He reckons he was told by a tyre fitting establishment that this was an ok temporary solution to get him home or to a tyre depot. Seemed to work as he scooted off half an hour later to one of the local fitters and came back with a patch applied (on the inside). Personally, I think he is crazy. I have the spare wheel in mine.
