I now, unfortunately, just use a cable from the power socket to charge my phone.
That sounds faulty. We both have Max iPhones so the one shown wouldn’t work.
I don’t think a max will fit in centre console anyway so the standard wireless charger wouldn’t help either. In fact if you need to charge a max on the move, I’m not sure where you would put it??

My iphone pro max did fit in the OEM wireless charging slot on the S i had on demo. They only problem with it was I had to take my case off in order for it to charge so I removed this option as it wasn't useable

Gotcha. This option allows the case to be kept on but sits over the top of the console opening so need to remove it (it only sits on top) to gain access to the space. I don’t really need to access the space very often so it works well for me and is a neat solution.

For what it is worth, I've just checked

The Gen 2 and Gen 3 cars have slightly longer (8mm) console cubby than the Gen 1

The Gen 1 charger (I've done 4 variants) will take a phone between 153mm and 165mm max length

My Gen 2 and 3 charger measures 170.6mm front to back for the phone.

An 11 Pro Max is 158mm and the 12 and 13 Pro Max are both 160.8mm

Therefore the Pro Max should fit a Gen 2 or Gen 3 car but definitely not a Gen 1 car
