I am thinking of selling the car early next year so I am wondering if I should wait to get this scratch sorted along with others that might occur all in one go around that time. However do you think that waiting until then is ok and won't make it any harder to remove (from what you can see on the photo)?
I can't see any reason for it to get worse. It's not down to the metal and even if it was with a galvanised body shell the dreaded tin worm wouldn't get a grip.
What metal? 🙄

Excellent point, even better! In future Mike I'll zip it and let you respond.

I've used the touch up kit from Chipex to great effect. Admittedly mainly white cars, but the reason I like it is that if (ok, when) I mess up you can remove the 'Paint'. Does take some time and care, but the match has been good, even on a Carrara White car.
