Yes, the tracking has obviously been out, I wish I knew why/how. Most of the width has got plenty of tread but the inner edges are seriously worn, driver's side being the worst.

I assume this is a stupid question but I take it you've had the steering realigned? Alignment really needs to be done on all four wheels.
Neil - yes I do know about the size difference! But will there be more than 3mm difference in tread depth between the new fronts and the existing rear tyres? I'll certainly be keeping a closer eye on the tracking in future, although I find it strange this didn't seem to be an issue with the first set, they onky lasted 13,500 miles but the wear wasn't as uneven as these.

A good number, but I wouldn't have thought I engaged with them often enough, once or twice a week maybe, and no more with this set of tyres than the previous ones. Yes, good plan.
