New tyres

Unfortunately I have a slow puncture in the rear left tyre.
The car has just clocked 25k in 4.5 years and the tyres are original.
3mm on the rears and 4.2mm on the fronts.
Rather than have a puncture repair done on a 3mm tyre, I started to shop around for 2 new Michelin Latitude Sport 3 295/40/R20 106Y N0.
Rather surprised that Halfrauds come out cheaper than even BC as they currently have a 10-15% discount dependent on number of tyres purchased. Even better my local tyre indi has agreed to price match Halfrauds @ £242 per tyre.
I am assuming that any tyre supplied now should have a date of manufacture of 2022? I admit to never checking the date of any new tyre I have had fitted in the past but will do on these before they take off the old ones and fit these.
