Hi
I’m new here and will be new to Porsche. I’ve just ordered a Macan T in Crayon. Hoping to pick it up in April.

Looks a decent spec to me.

Let me be the first to ask the inevitable question - with £10k of options, did you not consider going for as S?

Yes and no. Lol. Surely if I specced up the S it would be a lot more. I liked the lighter front end. Thought of the Torque Vectoring but I just wouldn’t test it to its limit. So thought I’d save the £1k.
I also have a Golf GTi do love the EA888. I’ll need to spec an S out in my spec and see the difference. But I don’t really belt a car. Prefer sharper cornering etc.

Any way the spec isn’t locked down yet. I’ve already changed the mirrors to colour coded.

Personally I think £11k extras on a T is madness when you could get the V6. No real difference in mpg but night and day in terms of performance.
Lane keep and keyless access are a nonsense on a Macan and not sure you need air with 20” wheels as it’s the PASM that creates ride comfort.
I reckon you could get an S really well specced for about the same price?
Of course you might be smitten with the T and it might be a quicker delivery but do try an S to be sure 👍

Fair enough, although you might also like to test drive an S for comparison.

If you stick with a T, there will be plenty of time to change the specification. But if you did change to an S, I believe it may be treated as a cancellation and new order. Possibly a longer lead time as well.
