Pick up new S tomorrow.
Trading 69 plate in, couldn't sell it for more than OPC offered plus makes pick up easier, drive it in, dive new one out!
Apparently they are struggling for stock!
Looking forward to seeing the difference from Gen 2 S to new.

Congratulations on the new car.

Would you be happy to share what the OPC gave for your 69 plate S?

Enjoy your new S, and I’d be very interested to hear your thoughts on the differences you find between your Gen 2 and your new S, especially the engine and suspension.

Just spent a very painful 45 mins on the phone to Admiral Insurance with whom I have a multi car policy with, changing my policy from a Gen 2 to the new Gen 3.
I had to list every option I had fitted. Just when i thought I was in the clear he came back and asked me "what is Sport Chrono?"!!!!!
Anyway, all was good in the end with a very slight increase on the Gen 2.
One question he had was did it have a Tracker. I told him it was an option and did it drastically decrease insurance cost?
After more queries and deliberation he said there was no difference in price!! So don't think I will be partaking in the £300/year option and a pain in the arse to use apparently.

You’ve done very well on the part ex. I discussed trade in of my very similar car with my OPC today. They talked about the “low 40s”, acknowledging that they couldn’t currently complete with the likes of Motorway, WBAC etc.

It would be interesting to see what they retail yours at - £58k perhaps?
