Thanks GTB, we love the cars but had a smile over some of the “quirks” like the stereo never adjusting volume down when you start up, or not being able to close the boot with the key or from the button inside
Daft stuff but crikey do they look and drive great - could have done with yours for the full red white and blue effect…

That must be a Gen 3 thing (at least in relation to the button in the door). You certainly can on a Gen 2 GTS.

You never know, get the dates and venue right and I will be there, my buisness takes me all over the UK, so you never know where Im passing, maybe with enough Gen 3 cars and forum members we may between us all mange to work out all these little things. Just now like yourselves by the sounds of it, just far too busy driving and enjoying the car and how it drives, Like most engineers I will read the car handbook later........................................

Thanks Peter, you just prompted me to try again and it does shut from the button! I hadn’t realised that you need to keep it depressed to do it rather than just one touch…

I'd be tempted by a meet up, I'm less than an hour from Derby and there could well be somewhere suitable in the Dales that might be a little further north! That said when driving my Macan distance is no object
