Evening everyone, after a pretty hectic day I’ve been told by my OPC that I need to have my spec with them for Saturday.

After several hours playing on the confuserator I’ve come
Up with the below spec, have I missed anything essential? Or is there something I should ditch ?

That's a nice spec!

I'd be tempted to add a spare wheel, power steering plus and the driver memory package, which will cost about £600 extra.

And I'd be tempted to question the value of roof rails, logo door lights, auto dim mirrors, heated screen, speed limit indicator and BOSE - that's around £2000 of options I'd be reluctant to specify.
Macan S collected 4 Dec 2017 - Jet Black, 20" SportDesign, Agate/Pebble, 18-way, Pano roof, Bi-Xenons with PDLS, Surround View, PASM, PS+, spare wheel, towbar.

Driver memory is standard with the sports seats.

Heated Windscreen and BOSE are a must. Roof rails certainly if there's ever a chance you'll want a roof box.

I thought that Comfort Memory was standard with those seats, but that Driver Memory is still available as an option?

The heated screen certainly isn't a "must"; I have one on my Land Rover and hardly ever use it. Similarly, the BOSE option is ridiculously expensive for a tiny perceived improvement in sound - certainly not a "must".

Looks great! :)

You’ll never get agreement on here, or with any diverse group of drivers. Hence the difference of opinion already on things like Bose and the heated windscreen. ;)

Give a dozen of us a GTS to buy, with £12,600 in options, and you’ll get 12 pretty different Macans!

It’s a tough choice eh, first world problems!
I currently have a Range Rover sport HSE, it has a lot of toys that should IMO be standard on the Macan GTS but that’s not the Porsche way.

I agree with both Simon and Col. I'm certainly not convinced that the GTS Sports Package is good value for money. For one think you end up with Torque Vectoring Plus which you will not notice unless you plan on using your car for track days. As Simon's illustration shows, with the GTS logo in matt black in the Crayon option it's virtually invisible. I've attached a picture of my Gen 2 GTS to illustrate the point.

I was caught in the changeover between MY20 and MY21 and the option to have a different colour for the GTS logo was on the configurator but not selectable (and the OPC couldn't select it either).

If you look at the spec in my signature, you'll see that I did not hold back either but I think you could achieve better value by de-selecting the Sports Package and then choosing the options that are important to you.
