Out of curiosity, has anyone had one fitted to a GEN1 Macan?

Not me, but I would expect the main issue / cost / hassle would be the wiring. Gen 3 have pre-wiring as standard so makes it a lot simpler. Aside from the wiring, let's face it, fitting is sticking it to the windscreens

I picked up my new S yesterday with the Porsche dashcam installed.

It comes with a 32GB memory card. However, I try to use my own SD card and the dashcam doesn't recognise it.

Is it correct that I can only use the SD card by Porsche?

Daft question, is it a dash cam suitable SD card? Not all memory cards are made equal.

You need a high quality card, SanDisk or similar, with a U3 rating for best performance.
