Hi there, I've just introduced myself to the forum so grateful for the opportunity to post here as I start my hunt for a Macan S.

I'm looking for the very best gen 1 petrol Macan S in black with black interior and black exterior trim I can find, ideally low miles with full Porsche service history and with pasm as a must. Obviously watching the Porsche Approved web-site, Autotrader and Pistonheads, but thought it worth mentioning here in case someone was thinking of selling in the near future.

Many thanks, Mike

I'd also keep an eye on Cazoo / cinch - just be careful they doesn't invalidate any extended warranty left on a vehicle by servicing it themselves before sale - devil in the detail with any of their cars !

It doesn’t invalidate the warranty if they’ve serviced it recently, but you will have to get the service done again at an authorised Porsche dealer.

Also, why limit yourself to an S? Is the GTS out of reach?

Good point, especially as there are a couple around at the moment that fit the bill! It's predominantly for my wife though and she feels a little more comfortable with the S.

What’s your budget, Mike? And welcome! :)

(£59k sounds a bit steep for a Gen I S?) 🤔

Cheers,
Simon

Thanks! Budget is whatever it takes for the right car really, Porsche Approved are showing 25 petrol S's at the moment, the most expensive being £48,780 so it's going to be around there I'm sure.
Crazy prices I know, but coming from the classic car world you have to pay a premium for something special. What I won't be doing is paying the £46,000 one OPC is asking for a car with 46,000 miles!

Yes, some OPCs are really taking the mickey with used prices right now.

What’s your classic car background?

Porsche 993, by any chance? :)
