STOP FAFFING ON THE CONFUSERATOR.

You have a great spec with:-

But if you do want to faff, drop the speed limit indicator and add internal options for that is where you are going to be most of the time.

REITSY wrote: Tue May 03, 2022 12:08 pm Was getting worried there for a moment. Thanks andreas/jon. Spec nailed down. Happy with tthe full leather (instead of extended) as the kids will destroy the back of the seats if they are leather and if I do Bordeaux I don't like the lower dashboard in red.
Are you getting many marks on the Pebble Jon?

Now need to finalise colour.
Shortlist is either Volcanic Grey with Bordeaux Red or Black leather, Gentian Blue with Black or Pebble Grey leather and finally Carrera White or White with Bordeaux Red or Black leather.
No marks yet but it has been treated as part of the overall ceramic process. Just wipe down with a clean damp microfibre (warm water) and it’s perfect. I don’t have young kids and the dogs go in the Kia so no real danger I think 😂

Do keep the speed limit indicator. ;)

A true licence saver in this age of varying speed limits, especially when you visit non-familiar roads.

Putting Air Suspension on the maybe pile for now. Will try and get a long test drive with kids over the next few weeks if the OPC can oblidge. They both suffer badly from car sickness. Also still undecided on sports chrono on whether it's something you really use that often on a daily.

I'd ditch the ACC, the car has cruise control. Adaptive you will turn off and wish you hadn't bothered with as they tend to overreact and take the joy out of motoring IMHO. Bin the PDLS+ and you've saved a grand and can stick with the air, It's great and not floaty.
If you do take the kids off road anywhere you'll save the underside of the car by being able to raise it. Also if you have kids then the chrono is a hoot and they'll love it, possibly more than you!!!! You'll see them grin when it pops and bangs for their friends!!! Priceless!!!!

I have air and it’s ok but not essential. PASM is responsible for ride comfort over surfaces, air is about controlling the lean and yore under breaking etc - air replaces springs NOT shock absorbers.
I use ACC every single time I drive it. Whether to keep to a speed limit, prevailing traffic or motorway cruise - essential imo.

There you go, horses for courses.
A Macan can suit all sorts, so you can spec yours exactly how you want it and I know you’ll have as much fun as everyone here has during the process!!!
When it arrives you won’t stop grinning!

The fact that this performs all the setups in one operation coupled with the 20 sec boost was enough for me to spec it. I then had the chance to drive one without and one with and it was then a no brainer.
