Made some changes and already feeling happier as the spec. now is closer to one of my earlier configs before I started meddling. Many thanks

The Bordeaux is a gamble on resale I know but I saw a swatch in the dealership today and it's much more matt burgundy than the garnet red and looked so nice. Will probably bottle it (no pun intended) at final spec. time as the Mrs isn't a big fan.

Lovely spec. I would have had Bordeaux in a heartbeat it looks amazingly good in the flesh (but not so much with a red car). 👍

Lovely car Jon and only 2 weeks old. You must be having a blast. I won't see mine for a year but have my 718 to keep me smiling in the meantime.

Steering wheel comes in leather on full leather too

Only odd thing, and maybe it’s just my car but the left side of the drivers seat and the right side of the passenger seat is cloth??? Seems a bit shoddy/cheap. I don’t know if anyone else had the same?

I’d suggest trying to see a red interior in the flesh or have a good look at porschefinder at some as it’s a bit of a marmite choice.

Not been highlighted above but the "Extended Leather" gets you leather seats in the back, which makes that option look a little better value over and above plain "Leather". Either way, we should get a "discount" for already having paid for leather on the 14 ways!

Surely the "Leather interior" option includes leather on the rear seats?

Just upgrading to 14/18 way will get leather seats front and back. The leather is front of seats and headrests (everything you sit on).
“Leather upgrade” will then add centre armrest, door handles and top of dashboard in leather.
“Extended leather” will add leather to back and sides of the seat, back and sides of headrests, lower dashboard (glove box etc), centre console, door cards, door tops and rear console. It also adds leather to centre boss of the steering wheel.

Was getting worried there for a moment. Thanks andreas/jon. Spec nailed down. Happy with tthe full leather (instead of extended) as the kids will destroy the back of the seats if they are leather and if I do Bordeaux I don't like the lower dashboard in red.
Are you getting many marks on the Pebble Jon?

Now need to finalise colour.
Shortlist is either Volcanic Grey with Bordeaux Red or Black leather, Gentian Blue with Black or Pebble Grey leather and finally Carrera White or White with Bordeaux Red or Black leather.

.
STOP FAFFING ON THE CONFUSERATOR.

You have a great spec with:-

http://www.porsche-code.com/PN4IGKD9

But if you do want to faff, drop the speed limit indicator and add internal options for that is where you are going to be most of the time.
