I thought the VW Towrag, Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne and Lamborghini Urus all shared a platform? I could be wrong.

Looks like Cayenne is 4.918m x 2.194m. Height: 1.696m.

Q7 = 5.052m x 2.212m. Height: 1.741m.

So Q7 is bigger, but not by as much as I would have guessed.

yes same plattform, but that does not mean same size e.g. Skoda Octavia always been on same platform as VW Golf

It’s the diesel equivalent of a Macan S, but built in the newer q5 platform and as it’s Audi not Porsche comes better kitted out and with more tech as standard. That said I’d still take the Macan with my money

Latest update on my order from SM on Friday:

"I have had a look at your car and the spec has now locked down at the factory ready for production.
It is due to go into production soon and should be out of the factory late May, ready for an early June collection"

It has a VIN so fingers crossed still on track.

Sounds promising I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, however,

I also spoke with my SE on friday and was disappointed to learn that my build completion date had been removed from the system, my spec locked on the 3rd April and my build completion date was the 9th May.
Had a further update this afternoon, Porsche are limiting the builds due to the sinking of the ship on the way to the US as they obviously have some catching up to do.
New build completion date should be available early next week so fingers crossed they won't have slipped too far!
The only positive currently is that Porsche will honor the price of my 2022 build even in the unlikely event that i end up with a 2023 build as there will be another price increase from September.
