Are Porsche actually making any new cars at the moment?
Yes as I said all over the world, did not say they were not in South Africa, my point was no matter where they are made it takes the same time to set up and build new jigs etc, as existing are stuck in Ukraine

I'm reading all this build/delivery gloom and wondering if I'll ever receive my car. I received a SE email update last week to confirm my car is still on track/expected in March 23 - this is essentially 'finger in the air'. I'm happy to wait and expected (albeit, hopeful of any miracle for an earlier car), but would really appreciate open and honest expectations from the SE. If I know I have an extended wait, at least I can plan accordingly or consider my options whilst they hold the deposit.
Always looking and hoping for a new thread "Porsche confirm all Macan orders will be delivered in 2022!" (:

Patiently waiting for Macan GTS - PN1LVUL8
Never said you did say they weren’t made in South Africa?
I should an added a ? As I was confirming what you said with the list of global sites etc …
But to add they’re now set up for production in Africa and ready to run, As far as I’m aware. Which is good news
Hopefully yes especial for those's still waiting for build allocations. I did read somewhere quite a few weeks back that some manufactures were trying to retrieve and get important special made machinery out of the Ukraine, as concerns this could move into a very long term issue, but logistics and movement was restricted and proving very difficult.TK421 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 25, 2022 5:23 pmNever said you did say they weren’t made in South Africa?

Audi Q7. Are those things massive? Bigger than a Cayenne?
Don’t think I’d ever want or need a car that huge...?
Cheers,

I thought the VW Towrag, Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne and Lamborghini Urus all shared a platform? I could be wrong.Wing Commander wrote: ↑Tue Apr 26, 2022 10:46 am Audi Q7. Are those things massive? Bigger than a Cayenne?
