350 miles of driving after ceramic coating. Some motorway in the rain and a very dusty car park.
Will wash at weekend but impressed with the condition it has maintained…

So three weeks and 500 miles in and a few likes and dislikes which might be useful for members still speccing.
A brilliant car with super build quality and extremely quick when required. Handling is top drawer and the looks are fantastic (especially in Carmine )
The tech is not the best it could be but certainly more than acceptable and if you have an iPhone, car play takes away a lot of the embuggerance of the OEM stuff so no complaints here.
Niggles:
Extended leather looks the dogs, but why no padding on door tops - it’s like they’ve covered an iron bar with leather.
Stereo maintains previous volume setting on start up where as my other cars return it to low so you don’t scare the bejesus out of yourself.
Surround view “top down” option shows car in different orientation to where you are driving. I find this difficult to adjust.
Cup holders get covered by armrest when in forward (most comfortable) position
Good stuff:
Extended leather - superior interior by miles.
Carbon trim, expensive but makes me smile cos it looks so nice
ACC - used every journey and works brilliantly. Highly recommended
Base stereo - got to be careful here of endorsing because I specced it but I’m delighted! I expected it to be at least adequate for me but in fact it is way better than that. Particularly now the speakers are bedding in it gives a clear sound and very loud without distortion when cranked up - never had it beyond about three quarters full as too loud
14w seats are superbly comfortable with plenty enough bolster anywhere but a track. They allow me easy access without creasing up the bolsters or climbing over them too.
Sunroof - I use just about every journey, enough said.
Chrono - took a punt on this but really enjoy using it and have again, used on just about every journey.
Questionable:
Not sure air suspension brings much to the party as PASM is taking care of ride quality and I just don’t think I will push it harder enough for air to do it’s thing. I do like that you can lower ride to make wheel fit arches better though (expensive way to to this)
Auto dim mirrors - not expensive but I doubt they are a game changer to be honest. Might not spec these again.
So, all in all, a quite brilliant car with only one or two “first world problems” like any other car. Might change my tune when having to negotiate the silly “Porscheisms” like inflated service costs, tyres with an N on them etc but for now it’s a huge thumbs up

I’m not listening to you Tracky it costs a fortune!
White, Spyder wheels in satin black, 14w sports seats, ACC, folding mirrors, black/crayon interior, Porsche logo on side in red, PS+ and Bose (cos it’s noisier than Macan)
I don’t want PSE, or chrono or sunroof so £8k of options in total - job done.
Will be placing deposit tomorrow for 2024 delivery…
Edit: might be black/Bordeaux interior…
