Most car makers seem to think so - they spend billions every year on advertising. Tesla has succeeded with no advertising, and is making more money than most of the rest put together.

Tesla are all over social media like a rash! That’s where their market is (Musk has main share of Twitter now) so just because you don’t see them in “What car” don’t think they are not investing gzillions into marketing 😂

I think once the vehicles from Tesla Germany start coming through and the build quality improves their figures will increase even more. However, once they open up their charging ports to all EVs they’ll also lose a massive USP.

They're not! Their marketing budget is zero, they don't even have a marketing department.
