Such a shame that a great sports car is not driven as intended, and enjoyed, but is instead used as an investment asset for making money only.
Arguably one of the best sports cars ever made, driven less than 1,000 in the 17 years since it was built = an average of only around 58 miles per year!

Mileage is criminally low, but, with the poor standard of driving on our roads, I would be s**t scared of driving it on the road. Trailer it to well run trackdays is the answer which a few cgt and 918 owners do

Not exactly what the Porsche designers & engineers would have envisaged!
About 58 miles per year, some of which would be technicians test driving the car after servicing/MOT etc.

Question is if you owned one would you really trust an OPC here to service and maintain it?

Years ago my office was around the corner from a small garage (about 30 foot of street frontage) nestled amongst the local houses in Lytham.
An Italian guy owned the garage and in the four years that I worked on the site there was a constant stream of Italian exotica, Lambo’s, Ferrari’s, rare Lancia’s, Maserati’s etc all being serviced by the guy and all with only a handful of miles on their clocks.
One yellow Lambo Countach from the seventies was the one that got every pistonhead calling in to look but not to touch, probably valued today in the region of £3M.
So now you know where to take your 918 Spyder.

Quite a few have been sold recently as well.
If you can make £500k for having a car sitting in your garage, would you??
Its a shame they aren't driven, but that's some serious cash.
