How accurate is the milometer? If that is 10% out it will make all calculations wrong. Has anyone checked it against the motorway mileposts over say 50 miles?

That mpg readout is the average over 114 miles at an average speed of 48mph, not your 70mph cruising economy

Had the new Macan S for a couple of months now and happy to report that we really like it. Was pleasantly surprised to see the returned MPG on the motorway when sat at 74/76 MPH..........
Yesterday on the M1 cruising at 70mph. Not bad for a 2 tonne car that’s still opening her wings (engine break-in).
zuhair, never mind the party poopers above, even granted the inadequate lab conditions and equipment that's a good sign, not sure I've ever seen it so good, even midway through a trip and still on low ground!

As previously stated was able to "cruise" at around 60mph and mpg reached 37mpg.

I am guessing most people on here did not buy/order their Macan based on the MPG rather on the smile it will bring to your face :D Certainly did not cross my mind when I placed the order for a GTS
