I have a Gen2 GTS and have recently renewed with LV effective from May 2022. No tracker required.

Perhaps it's a post code and / or where parked overnight thing.

Postcodes good, left on private driveway at night ? Who knows it’s a lottery, value over £80k was the only other thing, Im Sure there’s a £75k threshold.

Private driveway is the worst option….

Yes as parked on your drive they know where the keys are- inside your house - and therefore if they really want it then they come in and get them

If on the street they aren’t so sure which house to break in to….

But they have a better chance of keying it, snapping off a wing mirror, smashing a window to grab a bag on the seat, getting hit by another car, getting his by an uninsured car etc etc.. take your point but, but gated private driveway shouldn’t create the need for tracker. Current X5 M50D again circa £86k, no tracker and very high up on the nick it list as well. Macan doesn’t even make the top 10 from Memory .

From insurance point of view a re-spray is cheaper than paying out for a whole car !

Mate had his RRS nicked off his drive, with gate….ended up in India ! He forgot to renew the tracker…

Some people don’t have options Tracey.

Mine’s on a private drive, no gate and was £239 fully comp with Admiral. £75k with no tracker.

Mine are too but the Lotus has to be garaged at all times at this address - we had some building work done and I phoned the insurers to say it needed to stay outside for a couple of nights. They said no way!
