PCM Failed
Just out of curiosity, has anyone else on this forum ever purchased a car and had to return it for repairs because the infotainment system has wigged-out? Can’t say as I’ve ever done that or heard of that happening with any other car manufacturer ( although to be fair I didn’t realise it was an issue with Porsche until I owned one ).
Never had an "infotainment system" before just radio, CD or cassette players! Happy days....

Having done this once before and seen the pain experienced by all of you doing it for the first time..... I prefer to have NO expectations! When I ordered it, Sept was suggested but we know better now, don't we? Actually, I do now have two expectations, extension of the warranty and another oil change before saying goodbye.

Just thought I'd add my experience.
The remote services on my Macan were set up on 2nd December, stopped working on 9th December. Took the car back to OPC in January where they tried a reset, which didn't work, and they then contacted Vodafone. They were told that the VTS module had failed and would need to be replaced.
New VTS module ordered and fitted in February, this time it worked for 14 days!
Car is currently with the OPC where they are trying another reset.
The car is now 15 weeks old and the system has worked for 3 weeks, 20% of the time I've owned it. From talking to the OPC it seems that this is not an uncommon issue.

Thanks for the info, but are you sure it is remote services? I was told by Porsche UK yesterday that Remote Services are currently not available for the Macan via the My Porsche app. Which services do you mean by Remote Services?M_G_Glasgow wrote: ↑Fri Mar 18, 2022 12:05 pm Just thought I'd add my experience.
