A good hybrid really could be the answer. By good I mean powerful enough to be fun but with say, 100 miles of EV range?
Most journeys are local but then zero stress for longer jaunts 🤔
The BM X5 says it will do 50 miles on electric so we must be getting closer??

Some of the Mercs have stated range of nearly 60 miles too....though mated to a 4 pot diesel...a cayenne e-hybrid, V6 petrol and 100 mile battery range would be sweet
I'd agree - if they got close to 100 mile range, that would suite most profiles

but then...if by better battery management and design rather than bigger batteries, they get to 100 miles for a hybrid, an increased range on my Taycan to 350 would be just fine.
