I’m beginning to feel my Macan ownership slipping away to be honest. Think I need to book my experience day to re-ignite the excitement.
Mercedes are still building cars for stock in small numbers and it’s very tempting just to make a call and be in a car within a week.
I am very much in the same sentiment here. I've had the second email to book PEC so will look to do that then decide whether I am still in it for one or just fed up of waiting
Be careful ! If you take the PEC day and cancel your order, you will get the cost of the PEC day deducted from your deposit, as it states in the sales agreement. Not sure if anyone has experienced this.
Maserati Grecale Trofeo (Primaserie) Collected April 2023
Macan Gen 3 GTS on order: Cancalled April 2023
Macan 2019 GTS Black. (On loan to son in law)
Mini Cooper S (Local run about)
Macan 2016 S D V/Grey (sold)
I'd ruled myself out of a NEW Macan (was wanting S/GTS) due to availability so when the T was announced and my OPC said they could get me one for my summer road trip, it didn't t take me long to put down my deposit.
When I went to the dealership for test drive they showed me four unfulfilled April allocations and 3 May allocations for the T in the bank so I took one of the April ones.
No doubt they are all sold and allocated.
In the past 10 years I've had 350bhp+ cars but for past 7 months have been driving around in 99bhp 1.0l hatchbacks. When I tested the 2.0l, I found it had enough power for me. Don't think I'd want to test the S or GTS now to avoid killing my experience but I'm looking forward to the handling of the T as I spend a lot of time on small A and B roads. Reviews seem very positive so far apart from Nick Murray LOL. Who hasn't even driven it.
