A friend of mine used and adapted a motorbike plate holder, loads of different options available apparently.

Does anyone know if the front number plinth comes off and can be replaced? I have chopped down number plates front and back on my Audi S5 but the front is a little odd because you can see the normal length of the plinth either side

Did try this but looked too messy, so gave up and stuck with standard sized plate on the front.

Had this size plate on all my cars for the last 5+ years with no issue at all from Mr/Mrs Plod.

Plus it's MOT legal so no issues there either.
Just make sure the BS number and maker's postcode is still shown on the plate to keep the really strict MOT man happy!
