Without wishing to get into a Tesla discussion, when you look at what Porsche have created in terms of an absolute stunning head-turning EV it shows what can be done. Even if a Tesla S or X has better tech and is quicker, if I was spending £100k+ on an EV there’s no question which one I’d want to see on my driveway every morning.

Assuming I’ll be dragged into the EV world one day for my main car, I look forward to seeing what other EVs come out of the Porsche stable.

They are beautiful cars - just put a deposit down on a GTS sport turismo. Got accused of stealing my other half’s thunder as we’ve only just collected her Macan! 😂

Don’t feel guilty. I dragged the Mrs along to see the CT for her opinion as I had originally ordered a Saloon. Let’s just say that visit is the reason I’m signed up to this forum.

Test driving a Taycan next weekend. It’s a Cross Turismo although the looks of them don’t do it for me. Possibly the Sports Turismo is way to go but reckon the sedan model looks better, if only it were a hatchback it would be more usable.

I've just watched Jason Plato putting the Taycan CT up against a 911 on Fifth Gear Recharged (Quest, FV12) don't know if it's been on before. He loves them and result, a 911 beater that can carry golf clubs! Shame the charging infrastructure doesn'tmeet my needs. One day....

Still a little vague at the moment, they’ve just had their first allocation through this week which was for 3 GTS STs, two of those are dealer cars and the the third goes to their lucky customer who was first in line. After that I’m now third in line. Due to my current lease deal I’ll either be looking at June/July or waiting till next January.

Two dealer cars? Seems a lot to keep two thirds of their allocation for dealer cars?

Fingers crossed for June/July! :)
