I went into my OPC last week. He read off the screen, my car is into paint shop on 21st Jan, due for completion 28th. Car has Bose and no mention of any delays. I even saw the VIN number on the screen.

Just out of interest, if being completed Jan 28th, why are they saying March delivery I wonder??
Mine has a build date of second week in Feb and estimated delivery of March 3rd, so around three weeks after build.
Perhaps just being conservative?

When is your build date? Mine is the suppose to be the 4th Feb so only 2-3 weeks away. As of Friday after speaking to my OPC all to set to go ahead with nothing to suggest otherwise.

Wish they would have something similar to this which shows the options for Taycan currently affected.

I've waited since April so asked for it to be registered 1st March or after for a 22 plate.

Not sure how long it takes from factory to OPC but it'll be a couple of weeks at the very least.

Has to be prepped and they are Swiss waxing for free.

I did say it would be getting a close check before I drive it away!!!! Bloody panels better fit!!!

Oh of course, makes sense 😊
What is Swiss waxing? Is that the same as ceramic coating?

It's nice to see some dealers are offering it for free. You hear about the free gifts you get on collection day. Dealer gifted me a £600 invoice for Swissvax I didn't ask for. Probably thought as I bought a Turbo S he could pull a fast one and I wouldn't argue. Without using these words technically said he could either shred, recycle or stick it up his ass. Heck I wanted to spec the carbon mirrors but felt the extra £1000 was pushing the budget. Not going to spend £600 on something I didn't ask for.

Lol.

The did try and sell it to me but I politely declined. As a discount was clearly off the table I wiggled the Swiss wax and rubber mats and boot liner out of them which I'm more than happy with.

Though after what Omni said about the supposedly piss poor lights I might phone them up and ask if they'll fit a pair of Cibies on the front.

Could set a trend!!!!

;-)

Rather than delays, all my dates have actually came forward a week when I checked today.
