I think if we all end up paying £500pm for our home energy, the vast majority of us may have to alter our spending habits - be that spending less money on fast cars, booze, holidays or whatever…. ;)

We did actually buy some Shetland jumpers when we visited in July lol
and our log store is full...as is our pantry...

I just saw on NBC (US channel) that prices of consumer items are falling rapidly, cars to follow … unreal volatility!

Hmmm - I wouldn’t hold your breath for prices of quality used Porsches to ‘tumble’…. ;)

Or for hundreds of buyers to cancel their new Porsche orders, just yet….

However, falling prices of consumer electronics would indicate that supply of microprocessor is normalising.

I think you just need to hold tight and see what happens in the next few months - there's always an initial knee jerk reactions from certain sectors based on fear and psychology more than reality. The interest rates issue is quite interesting as interest rates for long term borrowing are all over the place and some analyst think interest rates may increase in the short term but will probably stabilise then drop again.
