Me too! ;)

Do you know his spec?

If he doesn’t mind, it would be great if you could post a few pics, maybe on the Carrera T thread? 👍

Much as I love my Racing Yellow, I’d be so tempted to go Python Green (manual transmission) on a 992T, with very little extra specced.

Thought I had his spec, but the code I have is for a base Carrera, and he later upgraded to a T. Alas I know it's not yellow. It's GT Silver and manual

And yep - will post some pics when I see it in the metal

Agree that the Python Green ones look the business. Think there was one for sale recently

GT Silver is a timeless classic. 8-)

Thanks.

Saw a 992 T for sale at £142k this week! Seemed like crazy money.

I’ll never own a 992, but am happy to admire from a distance, especially the GT3 Touring. :)

Less than a year to go before the VED on my Carrera T drops down to ‘normal’, which will make me even more determined to keep it forever! 😎

I think that every generation of the 911s have distinctive features that are not available on the following models. The older they get the more desirable they become.

As much as I admire the design and capability of touch screens (which are infinitely scalable at lower cost, as a software on standardised hardware) I much prefer the analogue tacho and the toggle switches on the 992.

I feel like we have a Concorde moment unfolding in front of us… let’s enjoy it while we can :D

Another reason for me not to pursue a 992.2, taking away the Analogue tach is a mistake by Porsche.

I feel these cars, 991.2, 992 & 718, will be the last before the digitalisation starts.

They'll have to offer me something special to part with my Spyder.. possibly an RS? 😎
