I guess if they just fitted the correct diffuser you wouldn’t be having this conversation?
This. If there is no cost to you, just get them to do the job properly, with the correct replacement diffuser.
There will be no additional cost to the original quote if I choose to have the correct diffuser fitted, and they said I can keep the one that is now on the vehicle to sell.
I wouldn't know where to sell it, though!

I do occasionally sell on eBay, but I wondered what the demand for this would be.
Maybe there are people / businesses out there, that will buy and sit on until they find a buyer.

If I had the option I'd get the correct one fitted at no cost to you as it should have been at the start. The car should be as original as possible.
You'll easily sell the other on ebay.................................there are loads of cats in this country!!!!
If only that cat knew!!

That Gloss Black diffuser looks fantastic.
Here's another option for you.
You get the other diffuser but don't fit it .
Live with the gloss diffuser and see if you like it and if you don't or come to sell get the matt one put on.
I wouldn't fancy the idea of messing about painting the front end though I think it would look great.
Sell the diffuser, buy a towbar, cut you insurance premium by 20%. Win, win.

Personally, I'd go with this option, get the correct one fitted and keep the other. You can then swap it back if you fancied the front painting gloss.
