Think you can sleep at night now :D

Is it me, or does the top edge of the bonnet on the passenger side look a bit higher when compared to the black horizontal door trim? 🤔

There does look like a 2mm difference, you're right. But that wouldn't concern me personally.

1. Were your ‘before’ photos when the bonnet was hot? Looks identical to mine.
2. Did Chester OPC fix it based on looks or did they measure the panel gaps and confirmed it was not within tolerance.
3. All done under warranty?

I would have left it there had we not been 320 miles from home on 3 day holiday during COVID, with my part exchange already been driven away by Prestige Performance who met me at Perth (offered a better price than OPC). They stated that the there nearest repair facility was Glasgow and would need the car for 10 days, so I decided to accept it based upon their promise to fix. This due to personnel changes at OPC, is where things went a little astray. But to their credit they have got it sorted and stated that they would pay for it to be repaired with Porsche GB wouldn’t do it under warranty.

FFS there comes a time when you just have to accept that it’s a car, it isn’t going to be perfect and go out and enjoy it.
At the end of the day, had there not been an alignment issue in the first place you would not be looking for stuff like trim alignment.
Then again, if you would still see issues like that you probably need to get out a bit more 🤣🤣
