We had similar recently - replace the tyre!
Wheel is repairable. Not too deep and should need the whole face re-cut. Got via alloy wheel cover I purchased.

I've never used them but Charles Ivey in Surbiton have a good reputation and could probably recommend a wheel specialist.Navmacan wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 4:33 pm Thanks all for the really rapid and kind responses.
I felt pretty bad as I only had the car for a few weeks. I feel better that the alloy looks repairable. The wheel has about a 5mm tear in it so it might be ok but better get it checked out. Does anyone know of any reputable alloy repairers in South or West London please?

Absolutely! The other question is, will both tyres need replacing, if the difference in tread depth is too great they will, sorry

DWV did mine (via the insurance purchased from OPC). Essex based, but mobile. Done 2 to date; and whilst not as perfect as a complete re-cut, not noticeable.

To a large extent it’s the risk taken when choosing 21” wheels given the general state of our roads, but it’s quite a price to pay for the looks!

I’ve used Lepsons in Gillingham. I live near Heathrow, but they pick up from my house and drop off afterwards for £25. They are not cheap but absolutely the best, I would not use anyone else. They also do a service where you can leave your car in their secure unit whilst the wheel is being repaired, which saves you having to take it off the car.
They are literally next to Gillingham train station with good services into London.
Let me know if you need any further info.
