Me included

Mine arrived on the Danube Highway too a week or so ago. Car still at Sheerness.

Apparently much of the PDI is performed there as with a number of VW/Audi group vehicles.

UPDATE: Danube Highway now en route to Sheerness having slipped it's mooring at Emden early this afternoon, and the good news is that a second (larger) vehicle carrier, Parana, has just departed Emden this evening, also bound for Sheerness. Both due to arrive tomorrow.

Hoping for an update from SE tomorrow as to whether mine is on one of them

Bad news from my SE. Cars are blocked at Sheerness and my ETA has been delayed for two weeks. They have 30 cars at the port waiting for delivery to Tewkesbury.

Hmmm. My SE told me that was the case with mine over a week ago. Hope its not still the case for all cars.

Might explain why the Parana is mooching along at circa 8 knots instead of 16.

Meanwhile, Parana appears to be heading to an anchorage off Maidstone, so presumably no room to either dock or offlload at Sheerness. You really couldn't make it up, could you

Now had our allocation. Build date 31st August and lockdown 27th June. Anticipated delivery Mid September. Ordered 14th January
Will have to pay the new increased price but still getting the £360 'discount' for no electric steering column.
