I ordered my S at the end of April and have an August build slot with delivery expected mid October, so around 6 months for me if all goes as planned.

alians1109,

Great to read that, just a shame we may never know who's car came off that transporter first!!
I received a further email last night indicating my car is in the workshop, I guess getting set up and going to detailers today somepoint.
Starting to get really exciting now, cant wait...................

If anyone has a car at Sheerness or on it's way to Sheerness prepare for a long wait for delivery to the OPC.

It will be 5 weeks this weekend that my car has been stuck at the port with still no word when it will arrive and when it will be ready for collection. Last Friday the SE said that he was hopeful that it would be ready to collect tomorrow (Wednesday) but it still hasn't been delivered to the OPC so there is no chance of that.

The SE said that the delays are down to the shortage of lorry drivers so I asked if it would be possible to collect the car from the port myself but he didn't answer that.

Must be an issue just at Sheerness!!

The screenshot my OPC sent me indicated my car was logged into Grimsby on 21st June, and yesterday arrived at my OPC at Perth in Scotland, so basically a week. I would have thought that a normal timescale to deliver to OPC from the port.

When the car arrived at Sheerness I was expecting the same sort of timescales but sadly it wasn’t to be. It’s very odd that there is such a big difference in delivery times between the ports.

I hope that you will be able to collect yours soon.

Finally some good news, after almost 5 weeks that my car has been stuck at Sheerness it will now be ready to collect tomorrow afternoon. The SE is rushing it through so it falls into their sales figures before the end of the month.

It’s been a long time coming but I’m sure it will be worth the wait, very much looking forward to it.
