I’ve seen that RV8 before, it’s a very nice example, it would have been built in 95 for export to Japan, guess it was cancelled and Rover switched the Speedo accordingly. The giveaway for Japan spec is Aircon, no front fogs, vacuum advance pipe location and a rescue flare . Big ticket price though even with such low miles. Although saw this 1980 MGB LE with 77 original miles go in auction last week for £33k So nothing surprises me anymore.Tracky wrote: ↑Wed Nov 03, 2021 9:49 pm In the garage in the next village up from me

The picture of your Jag is a reminder of how dashboard tops and steering wheels used to look before the onset of safety legislation.
I pass that showroom from time to time. They usually have something interesting in the window! I'm often tempted to stop and go in - but I think my days of "classic" cars are over. I need cars that are reliable as well as looking good. That said, my old GT6 and BGT never cost me anything like the repair bills that my Range Rover Sport has ... hence the new MacanTracky wrote: ↑Wed Nov 03, 2021 9:49 pm In the garage in the next village up from me

They are friendly in there and they always wave at me if I’m in one of mine even though I’ve not been in there for years.Dannyp wrote: ↑Thu Nov 04, 2021 12:00 pmI pass that showroom from time to time.
