Thanks for all the comments guys. Certainly ‘new car’ enjoying it at the moment so hope that lasts.

Tracky - Yes, pretty much everything on it as ordered. In the interim it changed from MY22 to 23 so blue front callipers changed to black, 10.4” touchscreen went to 11.4” and tracker got an upgrade. LR increased the list price but honoured my original price. The only changes I wasn’t aware of until collection was the overhead sunglasses holder has gone and the rear tailgate no longer has soft close, neither of which I mind too much although the soft close was nice. Given the supply chain issues I was very surprised there wasn’t anything else AWOL.

Firstsealord - Yes, your guesstimate is only slightly high!

Thanks Simon, I love the looks too!

You need to add your Defender to your signature, Nick. :)

By the way - iconic duo of 911 and Defender! 8-)

Cheers,
Simon

Removal of the sun glasses holder is a strange one. What's now in its place?

Looks good Nick.

I do like the look of them, it was not to long ago that I saw the one and only new Def OTR that I have seen so far.

Removal of the sun glasses holder is a strange one. What's now in its place?
Yes, very strange. Just a plain gloss black panel. Not as if a sunglasses holder needs lots of semiconductors. Or wiring looms.

That's a stunning looking Defender and with the V8 as well - doesn't get any better. Looking forward to more info on how it drives and what it's like to live with.

Fingers crossed you can retro fit then if it's just a panel.
