With the weight, and it wearing a Porsche badge, they are going to need an entry model with 350-400bhp equiv, and the top model with 600+
Heck you can buy a Volvo EV with over 400bhp now, and a Polestar 2 LRDM saloon with 470
Macan EV on sale for late 2022 [?]
Sorry mate. We’re talking the last ICE version of the Macan and them running on production due to delays in the new EV.
I think Percymon May be right though even for an ICE. 500bhp would be barely 10% more than current GTS (allegedly) and not sure an extra sixty odd horses would make all that much difference.
If we are playing the “wishing game” I would like to see an AMG munching Macan at around 600bhp

I reckon Litchfield Motors could easily get 600hp out of a Gen III GTS (or S).

Expect to see first prototype by the end of the month and full production by Q4 ‘22.
First deliveries end of ‘26 when the IT bugs are sorted…

Yes I think you are right Simon - might be a little “highly strung” for everyday use though…Wing Commander wrote: ↑Fri Jul 22, 2022 3:42 pmJon A wrote: ↑Fri Jul 22, 2022 3:33 pm I think Percymon May be right though even for an ICE. 500bhp would be barely 10% more than current GTS (allegedly) and not sure an extra sixty odd horses would make all that much difference.

I do really think you are forgetting the need to meet EU7 emission regsTK421 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 22, 2022 1:57 pmIn fairness the 2.9v6 engine should be good for 600hp. Let hope they go full beans!
